Ann Hall and Michael Francis were both from Photomechanical.
Ann Hall left Adelaide for Canberra in the early 1990s and went on to greater things in the publishing industry.
Mike Francis ended up working downstairs on the comp. floor on a difficult and grumpy Pyrofax platemaker. Not sure what happened to him in later years, but I have been told that he spent time with Australia Post before travelling to South America for a couple of years.
Diane Anderson was a film combiner in Photomechanical and someone told me she was the first female apprentice employed in the South Australian printing industry.
Two pictures of the one and only Jenny Easther when she was working in Harry Van Straalen’s office (also known as ‘Concord’). I like the second photo because it captures the true spirit of Jenny
