Further to the history of the Kent Town Annexe I was assigned to work under a supervisor by the name of Mr.Swindstead.(Couldn’t get away with much).
I was an apprentice printer at the time and I used to work an old large handfed printing press.
It was used to print and die cut very large envelopes.
I think I was the only one silly enough to work on it. I remember I was only about 17 and it was darn cold on those winter mornings.
