Have you ever been in a tunnel and just hearing the echo of your own voice bouncing off the walls. That’s how I feel during the Covid-19 epedemic.
What about you?
Update: Sadly, Don Ledo passed away some two months back. Don worked in the press room. planning and sales.
He was a quiet man, good worker and after leaving the Guv. lived in the beautiful town of Strathalbyn. RIP.
Wayne and Angela Brown have just returned from Port Germein on the West Coast.
Evidently swearing is compulsory there and Browny soon became a local Legend. They are both well.
Don Woolman is travelling OK and sharp as ever. All the Best Don.
Vic Potticary and wife Audrey are still under lockdown provisions at Flora McDonald Nursing Home and bored ‘sh@*^xss’ but under excellent care.
Jude Marks is missing her boat cruises, but doing pretty well with her horses interstate. Go Lady Jude.
Like all of us Marianne Hunn hasn’t had a great year and she lost her husband Peter several days back after a long illness. Our thoughts go out to Marianne and family.
We report the passing of Richard ‘Dick’ Korff who worked in the Binding Room in the 1950s and 1960s. After Dick left the Guv he started a small binding operation ‘Korff Print Finishing’. Dick was a talented musician and will be sorely missed by wife Beverley, brother Charlie and families.
And finally we believe that Alan ‘Porky’ Dell was bitten by his neighbour’s large dog. Mystery surrounds the confrontation between man and beast and we are checking as to what actually happened. More to come…
Thanks for the update Rod… And the couple of laughs.. I did Not know Wayne Brown swore? Really ha ha ha.. Sad to hear of our few passings though 😢😢
