Naked swimmers brave the Winter Solstice in Hobart.

More than 700 people took a nude dip in the icy waters of the River Derwent in Hobart, Tasmania to mark the winter solstice and the end of the annual Dark Mofo arts festival, organised by the Museum of Old and New Art.
The water temperature was just 11C, but positively balmy compared to the surrounding air temperature, which was just 1C. The dip kicked off at 7.42am
